The Future of Integration

This year we have a rich and varied programme . Keynote speakers include Jagdip Grewal , Chief Technical Architect for NHS Connecting for Health, Wes Rishel , Research Director, Gartner Group, Norbert Mikula of Intel, Charles Parisot of GE Healthcare and Keith Naylor of iSOFT . 

Other topics this year are UK-wide interoperability, the use of SNOMED CT for semantic integration, the business benefits of standards and state-of-the-art ways of enhancing HL7 methods and tools. 

In addition, tutorials will be offered on the NHS CFH UML-ITS project, new ideas from the US government to enabling healthcare interoperability, TermInfo (using SNOMED CT with HL7) and CDA (Clinical Document Architecture).
