Speech Recognition Workshop

Annual transcription costs got you down? Figured it was just the price of doing business? Well, costly transcription, and the delays it creates in processing patients can be avoided with a little bit of determination on your part to get acquainted with a top-notch front end speech recognition (SR) system. SR has come a long way from when it was first introduced, and its time is now. After an initial breaking in period where the software's dictionary gets to know your speech patterns and you get comfortable with its verbal commands, SR is a simple and straightforward way to capture patient data now, in real time, no delays.

Medical Records Institute offers you this one day workshop to learn the ins and outs of front end speech recognition through an initial educational session and leave with a strong start on the road to a complete SR office with a hands on workshop. You will receive industry leading Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition software uploaded on your laptop, hardware accessories (microphone, device and learning materials) and the guidance of industry expert Michael Bliss and trained assistants to help you feel comfortable with this new endeavor. In addition, you will receive two weeks of email follow up support as you begin to practice SR in your office environment.
