5th Open Access ERP Conference (Italy): 
"From Practice to Impact -
Consequences of Knowledge Dissemination"

The Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università Italiane (CRUI), the Università degli Studi di Padova, the Max-Planck Gesellschaft, the European Science Foundation, and the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft are organising the conference "Berlin 5 Open Access: From Practice to Impact: Consequences of Knowledge Dissemination" to be held in Padua (Italy) on 19th-21st September 2007. The aim of the conference is to bring together the various initiatives and key players of the Open Access movement. Among other themes, it will focus on the state of play of the Berlin Declaration, the Open Access scene in developing countries and Open Access in an e-world.
