Development trends in e-signature related

This forum aims to provide participants with the latest Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies and solutions, today's legal status, experience and plans to implement solutions facilitating the dynamic and smooth development of e-business in Poland, Europe and in the World. The European Forum on Electronic Signature (EFPE) is an annual, international conference, and this year it is organized for the 7th time. The conference is targeted at people dealing with issues related to e-signature and building information society, that is information and cryptographic technology professionals, specialists in law, administration and management, and representatives of the highest levels of central and self-governmental administration. The main aim of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of information and valuable experience among Polish and foreign specialists in these fields. Issues discussed shall include theoretical developments, work on the establishment of international standards and applications of PKI solutions and e-signature technologies affecting the development of e-administration, information society and secure e-business, especially in a cross-border context. The participation of representatives of public administration, business and technology sectors creates a unique opportunity to establish international contacts, fostering knowledge transfer. The previous editions of the conference were attended by representatives of European and Asian countries, including: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and Poland. This year, representatives of Georgia and Moldova have confirmed their participation. The presence of a large group of representatives of high levels of state administration and business from the Russian Federation makes the Conference a unique East-West co-operation forum.
