" On RFID: The Next step to the Internet of Things "

RFID is perceived as the trigger of a new phase of development of the Information Society, often referred to as the "Internet of Things" in which the net potentially interlinks any of our daily surrounding objects to other identifiers, context data and business processes. It is expected that the impact on several value chains will be considerable and a multitude of new applications will emerge.

This Conference is to present real implementation cases in different sectors, as well as cutting edge innovation and research on RFID. Also, critical issues that are related to a wider dissemination of the technology, such as Privacy and Security and the Governance of the Internet of Things, will be addressed and debated.
