6th FWP: European Good eHealth cases - learning from successful implementations

The relaunched Good eHealth website and Knowledge Base contains the top eHealth solutions implemented in real life situations. This site was created through a study called Good Practice in eHealth, in short: Good eHealth to provide presentations of top success stories in EU, lessons learned and experiences acquired in deploying eHealth.

"Learning from each other is not a natural behaviour in the fragmented landscape of European Health delivery systems. Taking the time to understand the success factors and the mistakes of others, can be the decisive element between better health services through innovative eHealth solutions and a waste of scarce resources”

(29/01/2008) We invite you to visit the “new look” and appreciate the greater user friendliness of the Good eHealth website and Knowledge Base containing the top eHealth solutions implemented in real life situations. The aims of Good eHealth include presentation of top success stories in EU, selected by an expert panel, lessons learned and experiences acquired in deploying eHealth. This Study covers from January 2006 to  December 2008.

We encourage you to submit your own case; your experiences offer an important source of knowledge for others. Take a short break (~30 min.) and submit your case and get Europe-wide and global attention for your eHealth good practice. Your support will be highly appreciated by all - be they citizens and patients, care providers, decision makers or other stakeholders.

Learn more about circa 100 routine eHealth solutions illustrating the experience in 32 European countries - more than 20 of the described cases have been successfully operating already for eight years or more. Take a look at creative examples of health promotion websites, in-house hospital information systems, cross-border clinic-to-clinic services, and more. Most importantly, get in touch with the real people – users, managers, companies - behind these stories and get deeper insight before deploying in your environment.
