European concerted action to enhance the development of consensus on methods and criteria for assessment of information technologies applied in health care.

ATIM resulted in enhanced communication between these projects in the area of assessment and evaluation, and an increased awareness of available methodologies for evaluation of information technologies in health care. Concrete ATIM products are: a Literature database accessible through WWW and a book published through IOS Press, with first guidelines and practical examples from 3rd Framework "KBS" and "Imaging" projects.
