5. Contractorship

The members of the consortium bring the following skills and experience:

Long-standing involvement in health telematics policy issues at national and European level
Experience at senior level in European health ministries in both European policy and health informatics/telematics
Experience of standardization at the highest European level
Experience of involvement (as prime contractors and otherwise) in a wide range of EC funded informatics/telematics projects
Experience of working within the European Commission in the field of health telematics
Long-standing experience in health policy and organization of health care in Europe, including in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe
Consultancies in the health field for various international organizations
Direct experience of managing hospital informatics/telematics and laboratory services
Experience in the field of publishing
Privileged contact with telecom operators and value added network service providers (VANS)
Extensive network of contacts in national health administrations, among health professionals and managers and in the relevant industries
