Euro-China 2002 Co-operation Forum on Information Society

On behalf of the European Commission (DG Information Society), we invite you to participate in the Euro-China Co-operation Forum on Information Society, to take place in Beijing, from April 16 to 20, 2002.

This major event will include a Conference, an exhibition and pre-arranged business meetings.

The Conference will feature Mr. Erkki Liikanen, European Commission, Commissioner for Enterprise & Information Society, Mrs Zhu Lilan, Chinese Minister of Science and Technology and Mr. Wu Jichuan, Chinese Minister of Information Industry.

This high level support will ensure a very high political and media visibility as well as a strong Chinese and European participation. The future accession of China to WTO is also opening new opportunities for European organisations reinforcing the interest of the event.
