Data analysis |
As the Table shows, the work covered by this Report focuses on three work packages:
In this sense, Deliverable 2 represents an evolving portrayal of state of the art in telematics for healthcare, in which the initial objectives of the project (and the underlying view of telematics for health represented by those objectives) are re-assessed in the light of the understandings gained from the implementation of successive stages of research activities.
Section 2: Initial Perspectives on Telematics for Healthcare
- Scope of the TELMED project: the initial brief and objectives
- Rationale of the approach and methodology
- Main findings of the state of the art review (Deliverable 1)
Section 3: Telematics for Healthcare 'On the Ground': Results of the Applications Audit
- Approach to the Applications Audit
- Data Analysis
- Main Conclusions
Section 4: Interim Conclusions and Review of the Project
- The different 'world views' identified by the project brief; the literature review; the European R&D world, and the reality represented by the applications audit
- What was learned: inadequacies and misconceptions of the approach and problems encountered
- The revised TELMED conceptual and methodological framework
- Implications for selection and implementation of case studies
Annexes:
Annex I: Applications Audit Methodology
Annex II: Country-by-country summaries of telematics
for healthcare provision
