EXPO'98 TELEMEDICINE CONFERENCE

GENERAL INFORMATION:

This Conference aims to show in real-time a set of top-level telemedicine applications in different clinical domains, which will be showed within their real environment. Technical support will be available at the place for active interaction with medical doctors who will participate in the Conference in Lisbon.

In the Agenda there are 5 European Telemedicine demonstrations, 3 of them co-funded by the European Community : Finland, Portugal, Germany, France and Greece will present their diverse type of applications. Negotiations are under way for 1 more Telemedicine demonstration from Canada. The final Programme will be published in EHTO and in all Affiliated Sites, by the end of May.

Note :

taking this opportunity, a « Co-ordination Meeting of the EHTO Affiliated National Languages Sites** will take place in the morning of the 15^th of September, and an « EHTO Consortium Meeting is being organised for Sunday 13^th, the afternoon.
