The European Health Telematics Observatory (EHTO) and the Midjan Group in collaboration with the Rapporteur for ITU-D Study Group 2 Question 6 (impact of telecommunications on health care in developing countries) are compiling a directory of European suppliers of telemedicine products, software, service providers, system integrators and telemedicine institutes. The directory will be based on responses to this Questionnaire.

A similar questionnaire is being distributed world-wide in the context of the ITU study on telemedicine. Suppliers in the European directory will also be included in the global directory. A copy of the Report on Telemedicine and Developing Countries is to appear as a special supplement in the February 1998 issue of the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare.
