The number of proposal received is small as this domain is completely new, and this number would be expected to increase in the future. This domain is a classical one and 50% of the applicants had previous contact with the 3rd or 4th FP. 50% are new comers and substantial new concepts and technologies are now being funded. The coverage of the work-plan is good, and in the future these topics will not be a top priority except in the domain of dissemination of best-practice for improving the quality of care.
